What I Do

Scrum Master
I strongly believe that a Scrum Master is a servant leader and an impediment remover for a team, as well as a coach, a teacher, a mentor... Besides the official stances of a Scrum Master, I have also some of my own: the educator, the protector, the improver of transparency and others.
One helps the team learn that sprint quality is more important than quantity, that spillover is not a tragedy, that estimations are not numbers but conversation starters, how to avoid topic silos, that events have a purpose and should be timeboxed, how to do retrospectives and a lot of other things, while at the same time not losing the human touch and on-eye-level approach.
Agile Trainer
Have you experienced the magic of turning flipcharts or 3D flipcharts? Have you met "Darija the Product Owner" whom "Marija the Scrum Master" invites to explain certain topics? Have you witnessed the live grooming of a paper backlog? If yes, then we must have met at one of my workshops or at a PSM training.
For me as a certified trainer it is very important not only to design and deliver fun, creative and interactive training, but to engage participants into brain-friendly learning activities and enable the long-term memory, understanding and application of the topics learned.

Agile Coach
You can invite me when a team needs an external perspective or does not have a Scrum Master, but is implementing some other agile framework. This invite often happens when problems arise, although it is always better to prevent early than to fix late.
In order to achieve a goal, the service provided is the facilitation of the growth and improvement process. A partnership between the agile coach and the team needs to be established.
The coach observes, studies, analyses while asking a lot of questions. After the divergence happens the convergence takes place, but gently lead by the coach who helps the team find its own answers.
Remote Work Expert
I have started working in distributed teams in 2016 for Germany. Since then I had the chance to learn from teams who are experts in remote work, but also I had the chance to help those who needed to improve their remote setup. Built on top of this experience I have conducted a few company surveys and several workshops, written multiple documents on this subject and promoted ideas on how to improve on a high level.
Mentor
Being a mentor is one of the most rewarding jobs one can have, also one of the most responsible. Ever since I started working with students 15 years ago as a mentor and supervisor at the Ericsson Summer Camp having an opportunity to be a mentor or go-to-person for younger colleagues has always been a special treat.
In 2017 I started helping my mentees plan and implement their growth frameworks: we worked with the t-shape, the soft skills compass and other. I helped them find their technical path, but also other ways to improve, while I encouraged to challenge their comfort zones. I was often only a listener and friend, and at the same time I become a student myself.
Improver
Besides being an agile transformer of company cultures, I see myself as a "Kaizen person" who contributes to continuous improvement also in other areas.
AGILE TRANSFORMATION. I support the needs of my current teams as a Scrum Master, while in other teams I was a Scrum Master and agile coach. I support other teams in companies when help is needed, for instance Scrum Master communities or trainer communities. Besides delivering short agile workshops for my teams, I also regularly deliver longer trainings.
REMOTE TRANSFORMATION. A remote experience workgroup was also started with my help and initiative, as illustrated in the previous chapters.
OTHER TRANSFORMATION. Besides actively driving "agilification" and "remotification" and mentoring younger colleagues, I also frequently supported the recruiting and selection process, as well as occasionally contributed to marketing and HR
projects, as well as social, charity, sports and ecological activities.
How colourful my contributions can be is visible also in this promotional company video, for which I wrote the scenario, besides being the casting director, costume supervisor, prop master, narrator and actress.
